I'm frustrated seeing so many companies liquidate / enter insolvency or struggle to survive when they could increase their chances of success by having affordable access to appropriate advice and business education. Insolvency impacts owners, their families, investors, employees, governments and the wider community. At BISONBIZ® we are on a mission to help companies put resilience at the heart of their business, and not just survive but thrive to ultimately lead to greater economic strength for you, your employees and the wider community.
I've spent many years in highly regulated corporate environments working with every level of management and regulators. I bring a wealth of perspective of different industries as a consultant, business owner and enthusiast and Startup Investor. This extensive experience and passion to help, enables me to relate to the challenges you are facing and endeavour to find and present cost-effective solutions, strategies and plans for success.
I believe that by building on a number of core resilience and planning principles and frameworks, we can help enable you to build resilience and adaptability on which your businesses can thrive and maximise their value.
When I'm not immersed in all things business related, I'm usually found with a cuppa and a book, playing with our kids, chatting to Nichola, doing DIY or combining any of these in the garden - my ultimate sanctuary.

Hello and welcome to BISONBIZ® we are delighted to have you here!
I'm Nichola and I qualified as an actuary (FFA) in the financial services industry in 2016 having worked as an Actuarial Trainee for a number of years. On qualifying I was a Business Improvement Manager working with teams in India and the UK delivering numerous improvement projects. This reflected my passion for planning, product and process design, delivering streamlined processes and automation that make a difference.
Jonathan and I first worked together over a decade ago building an automated spreadsheet to analyse the movements in business assets and liabilities. Over the intervening years we've approached every business and personal project with the same enthusiasm and diligence always striving for maximum value and beautiful design.
I continue to combine my passion for planning as I juggle raising our two children, two rabbits and our dog, and through developing our BISONBIZ® offering. I also act as peer review for our material and lead the Marketing and Design.
My idea of relaxation is time chilling as a family, gardening, baking or doing craft work. The simple things in life bring us most joy!
